ABOUT CREATIVE WEEK
Creative Week is the preeminent festival showcasing the intersection of advertising, innovation and creative thinking. Launched by The One Club in 2010, Creative Week is home to The One Show, Young Ones Competition, Creative unConference and many other provocative presentations, panels, workshops and exhibitions that will converge on May 5-9, 2014 in New York City.
Through the lens of this year’s theme, Creativity for the Greater Good, thought leaders from the business,
non-profit and creative sectors will explore topics such as:
- Strategies, tactics and examples of advertising, design, marketing and other creative approaches that support the triple bottom line of people, planet and profit.
- Unique contributions that creative professionals are making to help both corporate and non-profit clients make positive social change in their own communities and society-at-large.
- How creative agencies and their clients can play a critical role in corporate social responsibility and non-profit development.
The One Club, producer of The One Show and Creative Week, is the world’s foremost non-profit organization recognizing creative excellence in advertising and design. The One Show, the most prestigious awards competition in the industry, honors the best work across all disciplines, including Advertising, Interactive, Design and Branded Entertainment.
The 2013 Creative Week Festival attracted approximately 5,000 advertising creatives, designers, filmmakers, clients, students and digital leaders from over 25 countries. Constituents work primarily in advertising, interactive, design and branded entertainment.
Last year, The One Show included 20,000 total submissions from 59 different countries. The Young Ones Festival for students garnered 1,500 submissions and 500 students from colleges and advertising schools attended the events.
